- We have now
attached the trunk and third brake light piece for those who prefer to apply
these pieces together. The separate trunk and third brake light pieces are
still include for those with a Roush Spoiler. The spoiler piece has been lengthening
to fit the Roush Spoiler. Simply cut off the excess on the non Roush
spoilers. You will also have the windshield washer cutouts on the hood
stripe.
- 2” gap between
stripes is recommended
- It is best to
apply the stripes on a warmer day or in a garage with heat. In excessive
heat, the stripes will dry to fast. Try to avoid direct sunlight until
stripes are squeegeed in place.
- Be sure to wash
your car with a sponge and remove all the dirt.
- Always use a felt
squeegee to avoid scratching the stripes.
- After peeling away
the wax backing, spray both the surface of the vehicle and the back of the
vinyl stripes with a soapy solution. Then slide the decal into position
and squeegee out the bubbles.
- Do not use a car
wash that uses spinning brushes. These can damage the stripes.
- Avoid waxing any
type of matte stripes.
- There are two sets
of front bumper sets in your kit. One is for bumpers with the license
plate cutout, the other is for the bumpers
without this cutout.
- The rear deck is
in 3 pieces, this was the only way to ensure that the average person could
do this job. Place the pieces that surrounds the emblem first, allow to
dry then apply the other 2, with a slight overlap. No one will see it when
you are done. They are carefully cut in places to avoid being in the field
of view.
